I had a hard time researching on Dj/Producer Carnage. Looking back at the archive of my blog you'll see that I wrote about him in one of my articles about the September event of the Palace Manila together with Pacha Ibiza and DJ Alesso. But I haven't digged in so much about him on that article. However, here it is , what you need to know about this DJ/Producer that is about to rock the world of Valkyrie this wednesday September 16, 2015.

Born as Diamante Blackmon back in 1991, DJ Carnage is actually making a name for himself in the dance music world. After scaling the dance music ladder apparently instantaneously, the renaissance man musician has great reason to be thrilled. With creation credit on RiFF Raff’s lead single, the arrival of an approaching SiriusXM radio show, an enormous EDC Vegas performance and (to top it all away) Chipotle offering the DJ free burritos (“burrito bowls when I am feeling fat”) for life are just a few of the motives why Carn – as his boss calls him – is prepared to fend off his “#Chipotlegang” followers and rock to Laidback Luke as though he were a lover, and not your own friend of his.

The audacious producer burst after his remix of Hardwell’s “Spaceman” a just ten months past and adamant on making music history. His coming hardstyle-esque single with Tony Junior, “Michael Jordan,” is a graphic painting of Carnage’s fearless tenacity: “It is simply a mythical record, everything I make is celebrated. I’m like a robot,” he says matter-of-factly on why he called the track after basketball’s best. The guy is feeling like he’s #23 and he desires everything. The tour is named ‘6 Rings’ because “[Jordan] won six rings. This tour is all about winning the title. Every show is a game and I’m going undefeated.” Let’s trust Carn never gets traded to the Wizards.

The hip-hop beat-smith, festival trapaholic and large room house hybrid vehicle reflects on if he had never lifted the decks: “I had been a tornado chaser,” he says with no millisecond of reluctance. It’s a great interview reply. Creative and most likely in jest yet it makes sense because in certain manners Carnage is a tornado chaser; consistently looking for another matter that’ll tear up sh*t. Upward. Acknowledging his ill-famed festival snare is coming to an end via a twitter rant, house and trance are Carn’s following thunderstorm with “huge music, large sh*t and substantial material.” This man is a schemer.

Yet there appears to be no process supporting the madness of Carnage’s diversity and multi-genre abilities: “I really enjoy a life of whatever I feel like doing. It’s impulsive. If I need to make a rap record I make it, if I desire to create a home record I make it. If I desire to make some pretty sh*t I make some pretty sh*t, you know?” Carn is as free and untamed as the twisters he pursues, against the actual carpe diem approach and true interest for investigating the musical spectrum, never fearful to remind you that he’s the league MVP.

BE IN YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR INSIDE THE NIGHTCLUB

Do you remember when you were a child and used to accompany your parents over to a friend’s place, a restaurant or a shop, they’d always advise you to behave! At the risk of sounding like your parents, we too are going to give you a lowdown on how to behave in a nightclub.

We know how difficult it is to be polite, sensible and morally correct in a nightclub, possibly attributed to the large amounts of alcohol consumed but the reality is that many people just don’t know how to behave inside a club. Not to worry, it’s no rocket science--just an art. Take a look and avoid these sinful aspects of clubbing.

1) ‘Excuse Me’ Is Still In Fashion

Night clubs are noisy, really noisy and crowded too. It also gives you the leverage to let your hair down and not to engage yourself in any mundane, useless conversation. However, it does not mean that you’ll shove away people from your way. A polite tap on the shoulder accompanied with an ‘Excuse Me’ still works, you know.

2) Sip Up Your Drink Before Hitting The Dance Floor

Don’t take a full drink onto a busy dance floor. If it’s a beer bottle, then it will work. However, if you are happily sipping onto a cocktail in a martini glass, then make sure you finish your drink to the point where it won’t spill on anyone or on the floor. Also, make sure you don’t knock your glass on the floor. Inebriated state might allow you, but the club authority wouldn’t.

3) Don’t Make Chain Gangs

Friends who eat together stay together, we are aware of it. But friends who hold hands and make a train while inside a club are considered obnoxious. Not to mention, it becomes very uncomfortable for people who they bump into while moving in a chain. You won’t lose your friends in a club and even if you do, make some new one. You are in a club after all!

4) Don’t Take Pictures! Not One After Every 2 Seconds

You are inside a discotheque which is already dark and there goes a flash in your face, after every 2 seconds. Irritating right? It’s okay to click a picture or two, but there will always be that annoying friend who’d want to flash the camera right in your face every now and then. They need to be stopped. Their facebook profiles are already brimming with such nonsensical pictures. How about just put the camera inside the bag, relax and have some fun. Sounds fun right?

5) Move Away From The Bar

No one cares how cool you look leaning at the bar counter with a drink in your hand, you should clear the area once you have purchased the drink. There are hundreds of people in a queue behind you waiting to get wasted. Be a gentleman!

6) She Is Just Not That Into You

Sorry to break that to you but she is not interested. She’s given you the cold shoulder, refused your drinks, dodged away from you in the crowd and royally ignored your smiles. Take the cue. Just because she is dancing, does not mean you can dance with her. This is your time to leave her alone and walk out with dignity and your shins un-bruised.

7) You Are What You Wear

Last but not the least, you’ll be judged by the way you dress in a club. The club etiquette says that you can’t wear shorts and chappals, of course, follow the rules religiously. On the flip side, avoid wearing jeans and sneakers too, you can wear them to a pub or a lounge, works just fine! But in a club, it’s a strict no-no. Wear a classy shirt, pants and relatively dressy shoes instead.

Remember there are tons of other people out there wanting to have a great time in a club, just like you. Follow these rules and rest assured that you have a killer night out.
