Humble Beginnings to One step closer to success

All of us may experience a time in our life wherein we consider our lowest point. But this experiences as we go along our journey helps us improve ourselves, strive harder and push our limits. But once we are on the peak of what we want to achieve in life, looking back we will consider those experience as our "humble beginnings". Even Donald Trump has his own fair share of humble beginnings, though as for me what he had gone thru may not be a humbling experience, it is still extravagant by starting a $1 Million loan from his father to start his empire.

Jhay Isidro, a familiar face among Clubbers up in North also has his humble beginnings. I had a chance to meet him last year while promoting a club within that area as well. Jhay as many people know him is very reserved even when he is inside the club. First impression to him will be the serious type of guy. But yes! he is serious with his job. That is why he is just being observant when he is inside the club.

I had the chance to talk to him and he told me all about his humble beginnings. "Una kong napasok na club is encore super club at the fort imperial na sya now that was 2010. I think haha tinatakan ako nung invisible sabi ko pa "bakit walang stamp?". Wala pa kong ka alam alam sa clubbing" he continues, since music lover kaya sabi ko "Wow I like this kind of place!" although I don't drink hahahaha.

"Then after that after few months sinama ako ng friend ko his name is Paulo Magnayon sya tlaga yun nag mulat sakin sa iba't-ibang clubs. Sa tomas morato FLUX SUPERCLUB. So ayun hanggang sa everyweek nan dun kame nag jijeep lng kame bababa pa kame malayo ng konti sa club para di nakakahiya na naka jeep kame."

I admire Jhay for being honest on this one. I know many people also do the same thing trying to conceal that they take the public utility vehicle in going to the clubs which should not be case. But then again lifestyle of the rich and famous is rampant in the clubs so, we can't blame them if this is something most people conceal.

Getting back to Jhay's story. "Then after 2 years of clubbing sa Morato Be Bold, Candy Shop, Excess, Flux, Bliss tumigil ako sa gimik kasi kaka pagod. May maliit na club malapit samen then yun party ulit, I have a friend na pumaparty lang din. Nag promoter so napa isip ako sinubukan ko mag promote after years of promoting nag event organizer ako sa Skout Republique Super Club."

Memorabilia of Jhay with his guests/friends/colleagues
This is how Jhay was able to establish most of his connections non-stop partying and North-side of the clubbing scene became his territory.

Khalibu Palace, Cabanatuan
"There was a time back then that he have set aside parties, clubs and his career as a Marketing Manager because he needs to focus with their family business. Jhay recalls "Pero hinahanap ng katawan ko yun club, music and the crowd . Suddenly may nag message sa akin sa Facebook, from Khaliblu Super Club, Cabanatuan. Pinaka malaking club sa region na yun that time. Pinag oorganize ako ng foam party so nag punta ako dun after a month hinire nila ako as Marketing, nag stay in ako after ilan months na promote ako as Assistant Operations Manager then few months as Operation Manager. "

Jhay believes in hands on Management reason why as he relates his story being the Operations Manager of Khalibu . "Sometimes ako nag iilaw sa dj kahit Operation Manager ako so after a year nag resign ako ang layo kasi then wala akong day off as in."

"Then my friend Abhie (which is one of the persons that also opened the door for me in the Clubbing scence) called me to promote again at Prime Upscale Club from Operations Manager to promoter again? Woo 1month lang tinagal ko tumigil ako kasi parang diko na kaya mag promote. So after few months Allen AreƱa a.k.a DJ Stove called me. Ni refer nya ko sa oblivion superclub I was rejected by that time then after months again my friend DJ Shui Pingli refered me to same club Oblivion hahaha natatakot pa ko baka ma reject ako so after ako ma interview na tanggap ako as Marketing Manager again."

I asked Jhay what's his plan for 2016? He immediately replied : "This 2016 my plan is 3 music festival and to organize more parties."

As of this writing Jhay Isidro remains the Marketing Manager of the club and he has an upcoming foam party but he has not disclosed the details of it to me yet.

As we close our conversation I asked Jhay what business etiquette that he live with. "Pasensya lng tlaga yun lng tlaga secret ko hahaha hinahabaan ko pasensya at pang intindi ko. "

Being in this industry is not an easy job different people from all walks of life . How do you manage to handle all of them? "Siguro para tumagal sa industry need mo tlaga ng mahabang pasensya be humble always and work hard tlaga."
